Mr. Conner is Fund Partner at CIG Capital. Mr. Conner brings over 10 years of experience as both a private equity investor and as project manager in the private equity industry. He served as a consultant of several companies in the micro loan space including Rapid Advance and Business Union Financial. Previously Mr. Conner structured sales acceleration programs for DealerRater which was subsequently acquired by Cars.com.
Some of his projects with FinServe USA Inc. include serving as Chief Marketing and Sales Acceleration Officers on 9 portfolio companies, and overseeing investment opportunities for 3 portfolio companies.
Mr. Conner also currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer to Business Union Financial, a $6 million commercial micro loan company that makes micro loans for small business companies. Mr. Conner currently serves as CEO of FinServe USA Inc., a private consulting firm.
Prior to FinServe USA Inc. and Business Union Financial, Mr. Conner was with Carey & Conner Consulting Firm LLC where he advised many venture-stage companies. Before that he was an advisor for FOIAView, an early stage, high tech company where he was responsible for marketing and sales acceleration, and supported the company’s government client acquisitions. FOIAView was later acquired by GovQA. Prior to that he was co-founder of TJA, a commercial janitorial management firm, where he held a large book of loans exceeding 500 notes.
Mr. Conner has skill sets in the psychological mastery of negotiating and logical approaches sales closure.
He teaches solution oriented business development, sales acceleration programs, and automated marketing approaches to thousands of small businesses, and entrepreneurs.
Not only is Mr. Conner a business and franchise trainer, his passion to provide sales, lead generation and marketing training to businesses prompted him to begin video training.
Mr. Conner is the CEO of FinServe. FinServe provides total business development and business acceleration programs to commercial financial service companies, ISOs, funding agents, and brokers. FinServe’s programs are progressive and contain all of the necessary components to build successful financial service organizations.

Mr. Conner studied psychology and business at Central Michigan University where he married his wife, social worker and non profit champion Sheri Conner. Mr. Conner makes northern Michigan home with his wife, son, and three daughters.[separator line=”yes”]

He is well known as a high profile partner in these organizations with the ability to implement the most state of the art processes and services for his clients.
